Rome traveler
I loved using e>v to prepare for an overseas trip. I read through all of the materials before I arrived, and although I didn't actively use e>v every single day, the thoughts and ideas really stayed with me and helped me to be more open minded––and open eyed––whilst I was traveling ... I loved the process of having something like this to help me visualize the experience in a different light, and was so excited about the concept of the journey, liminality and just the sense that I was embarking on something new and participating in something larger, somehow...cool!

Totally re-framed my weekend ... basically snapping me out of well-worn ruts ... new perspectives going in, new experiences there, awesome insights to parlay in the rest of my life after I get back.

Evolution Through Vacation is a very useful tool...and it's fun, too! It really helps to zero in on what exactly you want your vacation to be, whether it's someplace you go all the time or someplace brand new. e>v lets you really take the reins and be the guide of your own adventure.
Jacqueline
Boston traveler
I found myself enjoying the trip so much more. After the journal led me to a vision for the trip I was able––repeatedly––to relax and take unexpected hiccups and derailments in stride. The questions gently revealed where I was holding expectations of people and situations.

Wisconsin traveler
e>v made a huge difference. I liked that you could self guide. I was open and aware, but didn't have to make things happen, just to check them off.
Jenny
Colorado traveler
It was fun to try on "different hats."

When we arrived, they had lost our reservation. Before e>v, I would have freaked out. This time, I let it go and reminded myself of the ideas in the book. Everything worked out even better than we had planned––of course!––and I was able to enjoy it throughout.
